Smog from the Pinnacle Renewable Holdings pellet plant in Smithers

As I posted on FB, the company committed that they weren’t going to smoke up the valley when they applied to the Province for permission to operate.

As the photos show, this commitment is being called into question.  Since when is aspen considered a slash by-product?  This green wood is currently being processed by Pinnacle, and is likely contributing to the smoke emissions being witnessed.
